Ben Taddiken’s music is like a gentle prairie wind leading down to the mystic and historical shores of Key West where he performs regularly with his unique voice and guitar in some of the most famous locations on the island. With his remarkable background, he has become a performer who in one night can leave his audience simultaneously pondering the relaxing and simplistic nature of music while thrilling them with a song that has always been held close to their heart. His live performances and debut album, "Flip Flop Logic", have created a loyal following that crisscrosses the United States from Maine to California and his adopted home of Key West.

Ben was born in Kansas where he found a love of music through family influences and his keen interest in Jimmy Buffet, James Taylor, and Bob Dylan. Once he made the move to Key West, his music career began with strong local performances where he honed his skills and began writing material for an album. As the songs were collected,he spent time in Fort Lauderdale, FLrecording. Always seeking moreexperiences and life lessons,he traveled to California performing in the northern part of the state and returned to KeyWest where loyal fans from across the country still come to hear his set and feel the enjoyment it brings on a nightly basis.

"Flip Flop Logic" is like a journal entry written with musical notes where the singer-songwriter legacy is modernized to fit today’s hectic society. The pensive nature that is lost in our fast-paced culture is addressed in songs such as Walkin’, Shadows of Doubt, and End of Me. He also speaks to those lost in the traffic of the world in Quaalude Queen and The Ballad of David. Ben leaves the listener not with means to navigate the modern world, but a way to accept it with songs like, Relax (And Simplify), Caught Me Again, and Wouldn’t Change A Thing.

Ben Taddiken’s Midwestern charm, on-stage humor, and laid-back Key West attitude have helped him create an act that leaves audience members with not only an amazing musical experience, but also the feeling that they have made a new friend.
